Q: What’s your secret to your success?
A: My sister Marijah and I are a team. We activate all offers as well as partner redemption of points. We convert our points to Flybuys dollars when we want or need to. It’s a must for our Flybuys game. And now Officeworks is a partner and Bunnings, too. I mean… hello!
Q: How does Flybuys fit into your life? Any benefits you’re busting to share?
A: My sister and I love it. If there is an unexpected expense, it’s good to know you have extra backup with Flybuys dollars. So we’re always working together to collect our points.
Q: How does it feel to be part of the Flybuys 50?
A: I got the email and I said, “Oh my gosh! I’m VIP!” It felt like winning the lottery. I’m so excited. I loved the Flybuys 50 last year and I followed them and listened to what they were doing. It was cool learning from them. And now I’m part of it!
Q: What’s something people might not realise you can collect points on?
A: Travel! Some people are really killing it with the travel. That’s the next level. My sister and I are planning a big trip so I’m like… yep. That’s going to go on Flybuys travel!
Q: What’s your favourite way to collect Flybuys points?
A: I always make sure that every single place I shop has Flybuys. I always, always ask. And I love shopping with the partners. I use my card everywhere and then I claim those rewards. Bunnings is probably my favourite – I’m there all the time. The way I see it, everyone’s walking around with a Flybuys-sized hole in their wallet and they’re dropping dollars. If they won’t pick them up, I will!
Q: What advice would you give to someone looking to team up with a family member, like you’ve done with your sister?
A: Well, initially I was doing it alone and then I was like, “You know what? We need to level up.” And that’s how I did it. It’s all about getting someone else in there to use it and then being a little cheeky about it! We check our emails all the time and activate everything. We both have the Flybuys app and she uses the card – we split it.
