Q: What’s your secret to your success?
A: For me, it’s all about value for money. I prefer to save up for an item rather than trade them in for small discounts like $10 off..
Q: How does it feel to be part of the Flybuys 50?
A: I’m astounded, actually. When I found out, I didn’t know whether it was real or not!
Q: How does Flybuys fit into your life? Any benefits you’re busting to share?
A: My wife and I work together to look through the catalogues for good deals. I have this little thing I like to say: to make it easier to get Flybuys points, get the catalogues, investigate, activate, accumulate. It’s that easy. You get rewarded for doing your daily thing.
Q: What’s your favourite thing you’ve spent your points on?
A: Saving points has helped me be rewarded with new iPhones and iPads. My wife uses our points to pick up gifts for our grandchildren from Target. I love the quality of their clothes and it’s even better that I can get points for it.
Q: What made you decide to join Flybuys?
A: At first, I thought to myself, I’m going to shop here because they want my patronage and my loyalty. Then I decided that I wanted something back too. So it’s a bit like “you do for me, I do for you”. And I do like my eye fillet steaks from Coles.
Q: What’s next for your points collection?
A: I think I’m going to save up my points for a new phone – I’m going to downsize to a smaller one. And get my wife a new iPhone too.
