Check out more how-to guides for tips on collecting points and turning them into rewards you want.
The basics of Flybuys Travel
Flybuys Travel is like a travel agent – anyone can book with them, but if you’re a Flybuys member, you get the perks (aka points).
You can pay or part-pay for flights (and accommodation) using your points – and collect points on the remaining balance, as well as on any car hire, cruises and holiday packages you book through Flybuys travel.
Booking your trip with Flybuys Travel
Step 1
Log in to Flybuys Travel using your member number or email address, and your password.
Step 2
Browse for flights and select the dates and locations of your trip. Flybuys Travel works like most booking websites, which means it’s super simple to browse different deals and pick the best of the bunch.
Step 3
Selected your flights? Hit ‘Continue’ and fill in your details. Then here’s where you’ll notice the main difference with Flybuys Travel. At checkout, you have the option to pay for all or part of your flight (and accommodation) bookings using Flybuys points. (Remember, you can’t pay for car hire, cruises or holiday packages with points – but you can collect points on them.) Every 2,000 points in your stash will get you $10 off your booking. You can pay any difference on your credit or debit card.
That’s it. You’re ready to pack. (Sorry, we can’t help you there – unless you need new luggage.)
More ways to collect points
Every $1 you spend on Flybuys Travel bookings means you collect 1 Flybuys point. Cha-ching! These points will land in your account within 14 days after the end of your trip. To watch the points multiply even faster and get you closer to another vacay, try using a Flybuys points credit card.
Want to earn frequent flyer points with your fave airline? You could collect those loyalty points on your bookings too. Keep an eye out for the airline’s routes as you search, and make sure you enter your frequent flyer details when you’re heading through to checkout.
