You’re one money savvy lady. Can you tell us how you like to spend your Flybuys dollars?
I love to redeem points for money off my shop. Over the last year, I’ve saved over $1,700 on my groceries with Flybuys dollars. That’s a real help to our family budget.
What are your favourite ways to collect bonus points?
One of my favourite things to do is double up my offers, because I just feel so satisfied afterwards. I’ll check my email for a four-week bonus offers, then I’ll activate it and plan my shopping to make the most of it. Then, if another little offer comes up that tells me to shop between Wednesday and Friday, I’ll make sure to do that too. This way, I’m getting the points from my original four-week bonus offer, plus extra for doing my shopping on the days they’ve suggested.
You said your home is your palace. How do you use your Flybuys points to deck it out?
I’ve got a full set of Masterchef knives, which are the best knives ever. I’ve got a picnic set in the cupboard, just in case I want to go on a little picnic. And cheers to the quality Coles glassware that I’ve picked up with my points!
Do you like to spend all your points in one go or save them for a special occasion?
When I feel like saving a bit extra on my groceries, I love to use my points to get money off my shop. I’ll redeem points for $100 Flybuys dollars and then I can swipe my Flybuys card and just like that I’ve got $100 off my shop! Then I use that extra saving to spend on other little luxuries here and there.
What advice would you give to a new member who wants to follow in your footsteps?
Download the app and make sure you activate every single offer. Focus on the offers that are convenient to you or the ones that you’d really like to fulfil because they’ll really add up. You’ll be redeeming in no time.
