1. Convert your Flybuys points to Velocity Points
Our partnership with Velocity Frequent Flyer means you can turn your Flybuys points into plane tickets to over 500 destinations.
Here's how to use your Flybuys points with Velocity:
Step 1
Link your Flybuys and Velocity accounts from the Velocity page on our website.
Step 2
Transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity Points. There are two options: Auto Transfer lets you transfer your entire Flybuys points balance to Velocity. Manual Transfer lets you choose a selected amount of points to transfer.
Step 3
The best value for your Velocity Points is booking a Reward Seat through their booking portal, which lets you fly on selected seats on the Virgin Australia network and with partner airlines.

Before you transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity Points, we recommend researching your flight path to see how many points you'll need. Every 1,000 Flybuys points you transfer will get you 500 Velocity Points.
2. Book with Flybuys Travel and pay or part-pay with your points
Flybuys Travel is an online booking website for booking flights, hotels, holiday packages, cruises and car hire. It's the best option when you want to book from a range of airlines and select the exact flight you want.
You can collect points on every booking and pay for flights and hotel bookings with points.
When you use your points with Flybuys Travel, each Flybuys point has a value of 0.5 cents. An easy way to calculate is every 2,000 points equals $10 off your booking.
How to use your points with Flybuys Travel:
Step 1
Log in to Flybuys Travel using your Flybuys member number and password.
Step 2
Select the dates and locations of your trip and choose your flights or accommodation. Flybuys Travel works like most booking websites, which means browsing deals is super simple.
Step 3
Select ‘Continue’ and fill in your details.
Step 4
You can pay for all or part of your flight (and accommodation) bookings at the checkout using Flybuys points. You can pay any difference on your credit or debit card.

You can also triple-dip on points with Flybuys Travel: collect both Flybuys and frequent flyer points on flights and pay with your points-earning credit card points. Remember to enter your frequent flyer details at the checkout.
