Flybuys and Velocity Bonus Points Offer Terms and Conditions   

General Terms & Conditions   

Between 12:00am AEST on Mon 3 Jun 2024 and 11.59 pm AEST on Sat 31 Aug 2024 (Promotion Period), Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer Members who link their Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to their Flybuys account can choose either one of the two below offers:  

1. Members will receive 250 bonus Velocity Points and 250 Flybuys bonus points if they choose to complete a manual transfer of a minimum 1,000 Flybuys points to 500 Velocity as their first Velocity transfer within the Promotion Period (this does not need to be their first ever Velocity manual transfer); or   

2. Members will receive 500 bonus Velocity Points and 500 Flybuys bonus points if they turn on Auto Transfer and complete their first ever auto-transfer of a minimum 1,000 Flybuys points to 500 Velocity Points during the Promotion Period. Members must remain opted into Auto Transfer until the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for this offer.    

Members are only eligible to receive one Bonus Points offer during the Promotion Period which will only be applicable to the first transfer that the Member completes during the Promotion Period. Your Flybuys and Velocity accounts must remain linked until the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible to receive this offer. Please read the further details below in respect of each offer. This Bonus Points offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.   

Velocity Frequent Flyer Points will be credited to the linked Velocity account. Flybuys points will be credited to the linked Flybuys account. Bonus points will be credited as outlined below:  

• Any qualifying transfer made by Sun 30 Jun 2024 will receive Flybuys & Velocity bonus points by Mon 8 Jul 2024.  

• Any qualifying transfer made by Wed 31 Jul 2024 will receive Flybuys & Velocity bonus points by Fri 9 Aug 2024.  

• Any qualifying transfer made by Sat 31 Aug 2024 will receive Flybuys & Velocity bonus points by Mon 9 Sept 2024.  

Once Flybuys points have been redeemed for Velocity Points they cannot be returned to your Flybuys account, and they will be governed by the Velocity membership terms and conditions. This offer is personal to the recipient of this communication and not transferable.  

Manual Transfer Offer:  250 Bonus Velocity Points + 250 Flybuys bonus points 
If you choose to make a manual transfer as the first transfer within the Promotion Period, you will receive 250 bonus Velocity Points and 250 Flybuys bonus points on your first manual transfer of minimum 1,000 Flybuys points to 500 Velocity points during the Promotion Period (in one transaction). If a member completes a manual transfer first during the Promotion Period, they will not be eligible to receive the Auto Transfer bonus points offer. Members who have previously completed a Manual Transfer from their Flybuys to Velocity Account prior to the Promotion Period are still eligible for the Manual Transfer offer.   

Auto Transfer Offer: 500 bonus Velocity Points + 500 Flybuys bonus points  
If you choose to opt into Auto Transfer and complete your first ever Auto Transfer (where you Auto Transfer a minimum of 1,000 Flybuys Points to 500 Velocity Points in one transaction) during the Promotion Period, you will receive 500 bonus Velocity Points and 500 Flybuys bonus points on your first Auto Transfer during the Promotion Period. Members who have opted into the Auto Transfer functionality prior to the Promotion Period but have never completed an Auto Transfer are eligible for this Auto Transfer offer. This offer is not available to members who have previously completed an Auto Transfer prior to the Promotion Period. Members must remain opted into Auto Transfer until the end of the Promotion Period to be eligible for this offer. If an eligible member completes an Auto Transfer first during the Promotion Period, they will not be eligible to receive the Manual Transfer bonus points offer.  

Velocity Frequent Flyer Flybuys Auto Transfer Monthly Competition Terms and Conditions  
If you enter the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, please email info@velocityfrequentflyer.com and provide your full name and Velocity membership number and you will be removed from the Promotion. The “Promoter” is Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd (ACN 601 408 824) of registered address 275 Grey St, South Brisbane, Queensland 4101. The Promotion commences at 00:01 AEST on 1 May 2024 and ends at 23:59 AEST on 30 April 2025 (Promotion Period). Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who are valid current Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer members (or new Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer members who join during the Promotion Period) and have opted into Auto Transfer Flybuys Points prior to or during the Promotion Period, except the directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agencies associated with this Promotion (Entrants).  To enter the Promotion, Entrants must, during the Promotion Period, make an Auto Transfer of a minimum 1,000 Flybuys points to Velocity (an Entry). A draw will be held for each Individual Draw Period listed below (each draw being an Individual Draw) during the Promotion Period.

A valid Entry will be admitted to the Individual Draw which aligns with when the Entry was received. There will be ten Winners for each Individual Draw. The Winners will be notified in writing and via the phone within two (2) business days of the relevant Prize Draw Date for that Individual Draw Period and their names will be published on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website on the second business day after the Prize Draw Date. There are ten prizes to be won for each Individual Draw (total of one hundred and twenty prizes to be won during the Promotion Period). Each prize is 10,000 Velocity Points and 10,000 Flybuys points. The Velocity Points component of the prize may be redeemed for goods and services with an approximate value of $271AUD (including GST). The Flybuys points component of each prize is 10,000 Flybuys points valued at up to $50AUD. Permit numbers: ACT Permit No. TP24/00904, NSW Authority No. NTP/00381, SA Licence No. T24/704.

*Flybuys transfer terms and conditions 
Velocity Frequent Flyer members can set up Velocity Auto Transfer by opting in via flybuys.com.au/velocity. Once set up, your entire existing Flybuys points balance (to the highest multiple of 1,000 Flybuys points) will be automatically transferred to your linked Velocity account, and every 1,000 Flybuys points you subsequently collect will be automatically transferred into 500 Velocity Points. To turn on Auto Transfer, the full name and date of birth on your Flybuys account and linked Velocity membership must match. You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time at https://experience.flybuys.com.au/partners/velocity-frequent-flyer/. Visit https://experience.flybuys.com.au/rewards/travel/velocity-transfer to manually transfer your Flybuys points. Alternatively, to turn on Auto Transfer, visit https://experience.flybuys.com.au/partners/velocity-frequent-flyer/and sign in to your Flybuys account then turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘On’. This selection will apply to all members under that specific Flybuys account. You can turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘Off’ at any time and will still be able to manually transfer your Flybuys points to Velocity. Please allow up to 48 hours for Velocity Points to be credited to your linked Velocity account and for your Flybuys points balance to be updated. Once Flybuys points have been redeemed for Velocity Points they can’t be returned to your Flybuys account. Standard Flybuys Terms and Conditions apply to the collection of Flybuys points. ^Velocity Frequent Flyer Status Credits offer
If you’ve linked your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership to your Flybuys account, you can earn the standard Status Credit earn rate of (1) Status Credit per $100 (including GST) spent each calendar month in total across Coles, Coles Online, Liquorland or First Choice Liquor Market when you scan your Flybuys card at the time of purchase, up to a maximum of 10 Status Credits per calendar month. Standard Status Credit earn rate is based on spend from the day your accounts are linked. Please allow up to two weeks after the end of each calendar month for your standard Status Credits to be credited.

Spend excludes the purchase of gift cards, tobacco, tobacco related products, charity donations and delivery/service fees. Status Credits will be credited to the linked Velocity account as at the end of each calendar month. No part Status Credits will be allocated, only whole Status Credits per $100 spend. No retrospective claims for Status Credits will be accepted at any time, even in instances where due to technology malfunctions eligible spend is unable to be added to the Flybuys household account.
