  1. Choosing your reward

    1. To help you choose a reward, the specific reward details are listed for each reward at flybuys.com.au.
    2. Please choose your Flybuys reward carefully. Once you have redeemed points for your reward it cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded for any reason except where that reason is covered by a consumer guarantee in the Australian Consumer Law (for instance, where the reward is faulty or not as described).
    3. Flybuys reserves the right to make any changes at any time to the range of available rewards, the number of points required for a reward and the Terms and Conditions applicable to rewards, irrespective of the effect on members' points without prior notice and at Flybuys' absolute discretion.
  2. How to redeem points for a reward

    1. To redeem points for a reward, visit flybuys.com.au or call the Flybuys Service Centre on 13 1116 to find out more.
    2. Redemptions at flybuys.com.au must be from an Australian-based IP address.
  3. Reward Terms and Conditions

    1. All reward redemptions are also subject to the Flybuys Terms and Conditions.
    2. Current Flybuys account household postal address and email address
      1. Where applicable, rewards (including reward letters) will be posted or delivered to the current Flybuys account household postal address held in the Flybuys system at the time of redeeming. Where rewards are delivered by email, the member's current email address held in the Flybuys system at the time of redeeming will be used. For some rewards, Flybuys may expressly allow the member to nominate another postal address or email address. For this reason, it is important to ensure Flybuys has your current address and other contact details.
      2. If posted, rewards will be sent by ordinary mail to Australian addresses only.
    3. Reward provider Terms and Conditions
      1. Rewards may be subject to other terms, conditions and restrictions as are communicated or referred to by Flybuys or the reward provider from time to time on their websites, or in the course of a member redeeming points for a reward.
      2. Manufacturers' Terms and Conditions may apply.
    4. Rewards delivery time
      1. Flybuys will endeavour to deliver rewards within the stated time frame, but this may not always be possible. You must call Flybuys as soon as possible if you do not receive your reward or reward letter within the specified delivery time.
      2. Gift cards will be delivered within 3 weeks of being requested.
      3. Merchandise rewards should be received within 4 weeks of being requested. If your reward is not received within this time frame, please call the Flybuys Service Centre on 13 1116.
    5. Claims for non-delivery
      1. To assist Flybuys manage your claim, you must make any claim for non-delivery within two months of requesting the reward. A claim for damage must be made within 7 days of delivery.
      2. Without limiting Flybuys' general exclusion of liability under the Flybuys Terms and Conditions, or any applicable consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, any liability of Flybuys in relation to a non-delivery or damage during delivery is excluded, to the extent permitted by law, if you do not make a claim within the required period.
  4. Terms and conditions for specific types of rewards

    1. Merchandise (such as iPads and coffee machines)
      1. All merchandise rewards are subject to availability. Where there is a stock shortage or delay, Flybuys may substitute a product of equal or greater value.
      2. Pictures are illustrative only and not actual size.
    2. Non-Merchandise (such as flights, hotel stays and restaurants and other experiences)
      1. Non-merchandise rewards are subject to availability.
      2. For non-merchandise rewards, your contract is directly with the reward provider and their Terms and Conditions will apply. Please ensure you are familiar with and understand their Terms and Conditions before redeeming points for your reward. Flybuys supplies the opportunity for you to obtain a reward from the reward provider and Flybuys' obligations are limited to procuring that opportunity.
    3. $10 off shopping at Coles Supermarkets
      1. Members who ("Eligible Member"):
        • hold a Coles Mastercard; or
        • belong to a Flybuys account where a holder of a Coles Mastercard is also linked to the Flybuys account;
        • is a Coles Insurance customer; or
        • is a Coles Personal Loan customer,
          may redeem 2,000 Flybuys points for an instant "$10 off" their shopping at Coles supermarkets (excludes Coles Local, Coles online and Coles Express).
          When an Eligible Member presents their Flybuys barcode for scanning at the Coles supermarket checkout on a single transaction of $10.05 or more (after savings and discounts and excluding gift cards and smoking/tobacco product purchases) the Eligible Member may claim $10 off that transaction. Only one discount per transaction may be claimed.
          Please check your Flybuys account for the deducted points.
    4. Points + Pay
      1. For the purposes of Points + Pay, you will be deemed a member and a Participant of the Flybuys program.
      2. Points + Pay is available on a selected range of rewards only. A minimum number of points will be needed to use Points + Pay and the payment amount must be a minimum of $2.00. The minimum points required will vary depending on the reward and is subject to change.
  5. Reward letters

    1. These will contain all details of the reward, including all booking information. You must retain the reward letter and present it to the reward provider in order to receive the reward. If you lose the reward letter, it will not be re-issued, and points will not be re credited.
    2. Where indicated in the reward letter, it is your responsibility to contact the reward provider directly to make booking arrangements – full details will be provided in the reward letter. You must indicate that the booking is in relation to a Flybuys reward. All booking dates are subject to availability.
    3. Once the reward booking has been confirmed with the reward provider, it is your responsibility to notify the reward provider to request any changes or cancellations to the booking (if permitted). Charges and minimum notice periods may be applied by the reward provider for any cancellation or change to a booking.
    4. Reward letters are valid for 6 months unless otherwise stated and a 'use by date' will appear on your reward letter.
  6. flypay

    1. flypay is a digital wallet provided by Coles Group Limited ABN 11 004 089 936 in collaboration with Flybuys. Members who have:
      1. signed up for a flypay account; and
      2. have stored their Flybuys card number in their flypay account,
        may redeem Flybuys points to make payment or part payment for their online purchases with selected Participants (as defined in the Flybuys Terms and Conditions) where the Participant has made available an option to checkout or pay with flypay (Participating Retailer).
    2. You can only use flypay to redeem points in payment or part payment for online purchases with Participating Retailers and on qualifying transactions. Details of Participating Retailers and qualifying transactions are as set out on the Flybuys website.
    3. When paying with flypay, 2,000 Flybuys points can be redeemed for $10. You can adjust the number of Flybuys points redeemed for payment by increments of 2 Flybuys points.
    4. In order to redeem points using flypay, you may be required to have or use a minimum number of points. There may also be a cap on the maximum number of points that can be redeemed in a payment using flypay. The minimum number of points required and the maximum number of points allowed may vary depending on the Participating Retailer. Details are available on the Flybuys website and during the flypay checkout and payment process, and may change from time to time.
    5. Flybuys only facilitates the redemption of points through flypay, and is not responsible for transactions (including exchange and refund) with Participating Retailers. The flypay Terms and Conditions (available at flypay’s website at https://www.flypay.com.au) apply to the use of flypay and Participating Retailers have their own terms and conditions relating to their transactions.
    6. Refunds for purchases made using flypay are subject to the refund policies of the relevant Participating Retailer and applicable laws. If you are eligible for a refund, any cash component of your payment will be refunded first. Any outstanding amount will be refunded as Flybuys points to your account at the same rate at which they were redeemed or a credit for that amount from the relevant Participating Retailer (at the Participating Retailer’s sole discretion). Most refunds of Flybuys points will be completed within 2 weeks.
